Skip the sticker charts. This layered reward jar is the kind of thing parents actually want to display and kids actually get excited about.

Personalize it with any name and use the shape selector to choose the fun drop in token pieces for kids to earn watch the jar fill up. It's interactive, it's cute, and it can even be sold at a market (Just use the quote 'Reward Jar' or no name at all).

**Materials**

- 1/8" acrylic from [COHn Acrylics - Clear](https://www.cohnacrylics.com/?bg_ref=0VnJicnnRL)

- 1/8" Birchwood for the back piece

- 1/8" acrylic for tokens

- I used 1/4" inch Birchwood for my insert, you can also use 1/8". This is completely dependent on the thickness of your material for the tokens.

- Recommended to use 1/4" material for the base to create a sturdier product. The base material thickness as been set to that to that the slot on the clear acrylic is long enough.

- I prefer using 3M Adhesive transfer tape to connect all the pieces

## How to assemble:

- Cut all the pieces

- Glue the INSERT to the BACK PIECE.

- Glue the CLEAR ACRYLIC to the INSERT

- Glue the TOP PIECE to the clear acrylic

## Kerf Tips:

- I use a [SLOT SIZER](https://cuttle.xyz/@FourthAvenue/Kerf-Tool-fxVReAsk5a4t) to determine the measurement to put in the "Slot Size" field.

- You can also use a calliper to measure your material and determine your slot size. Measuer your material and start by removing 0.01" from the measurement. For example, if your material measured 0.125" thick , the slot of the base should be 0.115" high. Select the slot rectangle and manually type in the correct height. The default slot size is 0.11" (for 0.12" thick material) and the tab for fitting into the slot is also 0.11" (for 0.12 thick material)
