Create blank standing signs by customizing the size and shape. Remix this template and add your own design! Be sure to adjust kerf and material thickness before cutting! I also included a kerf tester piece below cut template so that you can do a test fit first!

Tips:

- to create a **circle**, select pill style, and set the width and height to the same number

- to create a **square**, select rectangle style, and set the width and height to the same number

**Kerf Tester**

Use this template to test for kerf before cutting your full sign. **_A good starting point, if you have no idea what your kerf is, is .008._**

Steps:

1. Using digital calipers, measure your material that you will be cutting.

2. Insert that measurement into the material thickness parameter.

3. Set kerf at 0.008.

4. Download and cut.

5. Assess fit.

6. _Too loose and falls out? Increase the kerf number by .001. So bump Kerf up to .009 and re-cut._

7. _Too tight and won't fit? Decrease the kerf number by .001. So lower the kerf to .007 and re-cut._

**My kerf on my thunder laser is 0.01.**
