A customizable Cuttle template for creating 3D printable cards, tags, badges, signs, name plates, toy license plates, and similar projects.
The template is designed to make it easy to create many different layouts from one project. You can adjust the overall size, add up to four lines of text, include a logo or QR code, add a border, and configure mounting holes or slots.

Features
Text
Add up to four lines of text.
Each line can have its own font, size, position, horizontal alignment, and vertical alignment.
Global text controls can also be used to move and align all text lines together.
Logo
Add a custom graphic and control its position and scale.
QR Code
Add a QR code containing a web address or other supported content.
Holes and Slots
Add mounting holes or hanging slots to the card.
Controls include hole size, slot corner radius, edge thickness, placement angle, and horizontal or vertical mirroring.
This makes it possible to create layouts ranging from a single hanging slot to matching holes on multiple sides.
Design Tips
Bold fonts usually print more reliably than very thin fonts.
QR codes should be kept large enough to preserve clean square modules after slicing.
For hanging tags and lanyard badges, leave enough material around holes and slots so the finished part remains strong.
3D Printing Recommendations
The template is intended for 3D printing and works well with normal FDM printing workflows.
For the cleanest raised text and surface details, I have had good results with the following settings in Bambu Studio.
Ironing
Enable ironing for the topmost layer.
This produces a smoother finished surface and can make raised text and other top details look cleaner.
Wall Generator
Use the Arachne wall generator.
Arachne handles changing wall widths well and can improve the way thin text, small details, borders, and narrow features are printed.
This project is intended as a flexible starting point rather than a single finished design. Experiment with the controls to create your own card, badge, tag, sign, or plate layout.
