## Project Overview

This file creates a two layer magnet. The back layer is intended for engraving and holds your message or artwork. The front layer is a decorative scalloped frame meant to be cut from acrylic or another contrasting material. When assembled, the frame sits neatly over the engraved panel to highlight the design.

Used for engraving text and artwork. Recommended materials include wood, coated MDF, or acrylic that engraves well.

**Frame Layer**  
Cut only. Designed for acrylic but also works with thin wood. This layer provides the decorative scalloped border.

**Back layer thickness**  
1/8 inch material works best for magnets and keeps weight low.

**Frame layer thickness**  
Use thin acrylic or similar sheet material. Matching or contrasting colors both look great depending on style.
