# Books Read This Year Reading Tracker

This book tracker file template features customizable text at the top reading **“\_\_\_’s Library”** and a sliding number mechanism to easily update the total number of books read throughout the year. Designed to be both functional and decorative, it’s perfect for readers who love tracking their progress in a hands-on way.

Easy to personalize and optimized for smooth cutting and assembly.

## Materials:

-   1/4" Maple from Columbia Forest Products at [Home Depot](https://go.shopmy.us/p-45996486). 1/8" in your chosen wood would also work

    ## Kerf Tips:
    

-   The Slot Size field does not account for your kerf.
    
-   I use a slot sizer to determine the measurement to put here.
    
-   Find a link to the slot sizer below
    
-   To use a slot sizer, simply cut it out of your desired material (I use one for 1/4" thick material, and one for 1/8" thick material - keep them and reuse for all materials this thick!)
    
-   Insert the project material into the slot sizer to find the slot that fits **snuggly**
    
-   Insert the measurement listed there into the MaterialThickness parameter above.
