1/4" Maple plywood from Columbia Forest products at Home Depot - double layered.
Rubber stamp material from Amazon
Craft foam from Amazon
WD40 Pen to clean the stamp rubber from Amazon
4x6" muslin bags for packaging from Amazon

Assembly:
I like to cut two layers of wood, and glue them together - only engrave one! This double layer makes the stamp easier to hold.
Cut the craft foam, and stick it between the rubber layer and your stacked wood layer.
Make sure to align your stamp material and your wood engrave so you know which way to position your stamp when using it.
