Celebrate Christmas Eve with a fun hands-on tradition! This DIY Santa’s Cookie & Carrot Plate Coloring Kit includes a festive plate, cookies, carrots, milk, a special note for Santa, and a “Reindeer Snacks” tag. Kids can color and personalize each piece before setting out their treats for Santa and his reindeer.

Instructions

  1. Color the pieces.
Color or paint the scored and engraved details on the plate, cookies, carrots, milk bottle, Santa note, and Reindeer Snacks tag using paint markers, acrylic paint, or your preferred coloring supplies. Allow everything to dry completely before assembling.

  2. Build the plate.
Glue or adhere the raised frame layer on top of the plate backer, carefully lining up the edges. The raised edge helps keep the loose treats contained on the plate.

  3. Let the plate dry.
Allow the glued plate layers to dry completely before adding the loose pieces.

  4. Arrange Santa’s treats.
Place the cookies and milk on the plate and arrange the carrots for the reindeer.

  5. Complete the note for Santa.
Have your child write or draw a special message on the “A Note for Santa” card.

  6. Make the reindeer snack bundle.
Thread string or ribbon through the hole in the “Reindeer Snacks” tag and use it to tie the carrots together into a little bundle.

  7. Set it out for Christmas Eve.
Arrange the finished plate, note, and reindeer snacks together and place them out for Santa and his reindeer.
