**Christmas Lights Photo Frame**
_Photo sits inside a "pocket" on the back - made up of a spacer piece and square backer that holds it in place._

1. Fill in your custom text. Can do multiple lines, just hit "enter" key between each.

2. Download SVG

3. Cut "Backer" from 1/16 or 1/8 clear acrylic _(this is the foundation element of your piece - it protects the photo and gives the design elements somewhere to adhere to)._ I like to use 1/16, but if you believe it will be handled a lot, consider using 1/8 for extra support.

4. Cut "Light Bulbs," "Frame" and "Cord" elements from any thickness of material with double-sided adhesive on BACK of your pieces. They are separated by color.

5. Cut "Back Cover" from same thickness of material. I usually match this to my present color.

6. Cut the "Spacer" element from 1/16 acrylic with double-sided adhesive on BOTH SIDES of piece - this is where the photo will sit.

7. Color fill engraved areas on "Back Piece" as needed/desired with craft paint or markers.

8. Assemble as follows (video for reference: [https://youtu.be/RuwA-5RvkgQ](https://youtu.be/RuwA-5RvkgQ))

    - Place frame element on front of clear piece, taking extra care to line up edges of design elements.

    - Arrange remaining light bulb and cord pieces by following score lines

    - On the back, line up and place your spacer piece so it sits around the hole inside your lights/cord

    - Place the backer element on top of your spacer piece.

9. Add a ribbon for hanging

10. Add a photo

**File Key:**
Red: Cut
Black: Engrave

**Difficulty Level:** Beginner/Intermediate- there are stacked layers and a decent number of pieces, but if you follow the diagram it should be pretty straight forward.
