You’re probably familiar with 3M double-sided adhesive. You apply it to the back of your material _before_ cutting, then cut, then peel and stick it onto your backer. It’s faster and cleaner than glue, and especially handy for acrylic.

(If you’re not familiar with this, I love [John Kuiphoff’s video](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=99LKMkiwT0c) about it.)

Anyway, makers love this stuff — but it’s expensive.

Our friend David Brown, who runs the material supplier [Creative Cut Supplies](https://creativecutsupplies.com/) and also makes a ton of ornaments every season, was looking for a cheaper alternative to 3M to improve his margins.

He ended up working with a manufacturer to develop a new product — [DualTite](https://creativecutsupplies.com/collections/dualtite).
