Our latest template lets you generate a personalized three layer [Rainbow Name Sign](https://cuttle.xyz/@cuttle/Rainbow-Name-Sign-HWxSq33s0ZtU) by typing any name.

-   The name is automatically sized to fit nicely on the rainbow
-   The letters are connected with score lines between letters to make them pop
-   The name is welded to the rainbow arches layer, providing a solid place to glue it
-   Score lines are added to the backer to help you align the rainbow arches
-   You can customize the size of the sign, and there are options for zero, one, or two hanging holes

The template has two options for cutting.

**Option 1**: The rainbow arches behind the name are connected into a single piece. This works great for **painted** signs!

**Option 2**: The rainbow arches are separate cuts, so you can cut each one out of a different material. This works best if you are cutting the arches from multiple colors of **acrylic**.

He shows how to make the text — including with symbols like the heart. Then he makes the offset and base. Towards the end he explains how to use kerf compensation to get a tight fit on the slot.
