# How to get perfect alignment with eufyMake

The camera on eufyMake works well but it’s not perfect. Here’s a trick to get perfect alignment for **Print & Cut** jobs with your laser cutter and eufyMake.

## 1\. Download the Print & Cut zip file from Cuttle

In this example we are using [The Retro Radio Voice Memo Christmas Ornament](https://cuttle.xyz/@cbcodesigns/Retro-Radio-Voice-Memo-Christmas-Ornament-PdLX8GbbrcOu) (scroll down to the UV print version).

For this technique, you don’t need any Registration Marks.

The Print & Cut zip file will contain both an SVG file and a PDF file.

## 2\. Cut the SVG file

Use the SVG file to cut your blanks on your laser cutter.

## 3\. In eufyMake Studio, import _both_ the PDF file and the SVG file

Click the **Import** button in the left sidebar.

When you import the SVG file, choose “Keep as Stroke”.

You should now have both the SVG and PDF on your canvas.

## 3\. Print the SVG onto your work bed

Next we’ll print the SVG onto the work bed so that we know exactly where to place our cut pieces.

First, hide the PDF because we just want to print the SVG. To hide a layer, open the **Layers** panel in the left sidebar, select the layer you want to hide, and click the Eye icon to toggle it visible or hidden.

Place the SVG where you want to print on the bed, for example the lower right corner. Since this is just a reference layer, you can choose **CMYK × 1** for the Ink Mode.

For the print settings, choose **Zero Point** since we don’t need to use the camera. You can also choose **Draft** quality for this reference print.

Print this and you will get your exact outlines in place on your bed!

Note: if you don’t want to print directly on your bed, you can put a piece of masking or transfer tape down first. Put the tape down on your bed _sticky side up_. This way you still have something sticky to hold your pieces but you can peel and dispose the tape when you’re done.

## 4\. Use the reference outlines to place your blanks onto the bed

## 5\. Print the PDF

Back in eufyMake Studio, show the PDF layer and drag it so that it’s directly on top of the SVG outline you just printed. The PDF and SVG from Cuttle are the exact same size, so it will snap into place.

Hide the SVG layer since you no longer want to print that.

Choose whatever print settings you prefer for your print, for example White > CMYK. Also make sure to change the **Quality** back to **Standard** or **High Quality**.

Now print the PDF. Because of our set up, we know it will print directly on top of our blank with perfect alignment!
