# How to use Export for Print & Cut

Cuttle lets you design a single graphic and then automatically generate a cut file (SVG) and a print file (PDF) in one click.

To use this feature:

-   In your design, use _hairline strokes_ for anything you want _cut_
-   Use _fills, images, or non-hairline strokes_ for anything you want _printed_

For example, here is a design that uses red hairline stroke to indicate the cut paths and images and fills that are intended for the printer.

When you do **File > Export for Print & Cut**, Cuttle will generate a zip file with these contents:
